~ Silent Vanquish biography ~

Silent Vanquish was formed by Mats and Carl, winter 1998. At that time the name was Circus bizarre, but the name was changed later on to Silent Vanquish. They recorded their first demotape, summer 2001 (She is darkness). The line-up at that time, was everything else than good. The time from 2002-2003, they focused more on other bands and projects, having sort of a break from Silent Vanquish, to search for new members and to play black and death metal!

1.jan 2003 Silent Vanquish went into the studio once again, to record a new demotape, having a new line-up and material. They had also recruited a synth player. 'The excruciating suffering' was darker, and more melodious, than the previous one, and not to mention, more brutal.

The synth player left the band, not long after the recording. It went a long time before they got a new one, using session members on the gigs. And then upon all this, the bass player left the band. A new bass player was recruited, and almost at the same time, a new synth player. Alot of ups and downs, but today, the line-up is pretty good and steady. Silent Vanquish has come up on a higher level. Mixing clean and death vocal, fits the style of Silent Vanquish perfect. The music has become much more controlled.
